Bordello boat to banquets

IL BORDELLO was originally the name of the notorious barge venue in Bristol which provided the VIP hospitality and catering for renown Bristol music & media events.

In 2016, the business relocated to the Forest of Dean where the owner, Liz Lewitt, had transformed a beautiful listed building into an exclusive use boutique venue and from here, Bordello Banquets was born.

Providing bespoke catering and entertainment, for both in-house guests at Mill End & also ‘on the road’ for private events, Bordello Banquets is a love affair with food; a visual, sensory feast; with sumptuous menus using the very best of local and artisan products and a quirky and creative take on table design and styling. 

Bordello Banquets works in and around Bristol, Ross on Wye, Gloucester, Cheltenham and the Forest of Dean in between, and caters for parties, weddings and events, and for guests of the self-catering house and venue Mill End Mitcheldean.

Offering private dining, supper clubs, hospitality space for catering demos and training and full provision for team building and development days at our spaces in the Forest of Dean and Gloucester, Bordello Banquets is a flamboyant company of stylists who like to accept commissions for high end styling and feasting.

Bordello Banquets also specialise in entire weekend entertainment for hen parties both at Mill End Mitcheldean or privately in your own homes or any other large house within sensible driving distance of the Gloucester base.

Cooking up a storm and creating this visual feast is ex fashion designer LIZ LEWITT who has provided VIP hospitality and catering for the likes of Massive Attack, BBC, HTV, Bristol Arnolfini, Casualty, Aardman Animation, Bolex Brothers, BDH TV Credits and many more film, television and charity events.
